We paid $42,000 to Brandywine for restoration,new windows,doors, and added deck (railings are all wobbling, he never came back to stain the deck). After the fact we found too many corners were cut. Two new sets of 8 foot sliding doors leaked every time it rained for almost a year because he could not figure out why ruining floor and running into basement. We found out on removal of doors by a professional log home builder- Brandywine removed nail flange and installed them improperly(they do not leak now). We paid by the foot to have logs replaced and he literally cut corners. Leaving the rotted corners in place and we had to witness firsthand when the professional log home builder installed the 2 new sets of sliding doors exposed the corners- Brandywine had placed rags in the rotted area and covered it not replacing the rot . The rotted floor joists he never replaced either underneath the new sliding doors (which we paid the new builder to do). He hand painted 3 new doors instead custom ordering- and the green paint is peeling and chipping on all three.One he dented and knocked hole in taking it off to paint it a 3rd time and it still has the hole.So much more...contacted several times only to get excuses from him. WE DO NOT recommend them. We have the pictures of everything to prove it up close including the rotted log with the old rag stuffed in it.-Even the work that was ok-is not standing up to the test of time and it has been less than 2 years-homeowners- The Wards
This Crew is absolutely awesome! They do wonderful work, and it seems to go up so fast! Me and my husband started building our home ourselves after they had constructed the shell of the home. We are building a pole barn style home and decided we really liked Brandywine construction so we hired them to do the rest of the work! It is worth every penny, they do such a great job with everything. We even had them do custom work as well, such as using materials that they typically don't work with. We had them put old galvanized steel on our ceiling in our home and it's beautiful! We highly recommend them, and they are very polite not to mention talented! Our home is going to be one of a kind; Thank you so much guys it means a lot to us!
